Mammoth Trip

So for Labor Day this year my family was going to go to the Grand Canyon with my best friend's family but it turned out that it was too hot so we decided to go to Mammoth instead..... and am I glad we switched places!! The weather was so perfect that I wore jeans the entire time. :) I hadn't been to Mammoth for at least six and a half years when my mom broke her wrist snowboarding for the first time (I do not recommend landing on your wrist wrong while snowboarding down a steep hill FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! :P).

Here are a few pictures that I took while on our vacation this year......

This is the beautiful view of God's creation from on the lake.

Shortly after arriving we decided to go fishing and catch some fish........... or at least attempt. We didn't really catch anything.

The only thing we really caught was my brother. :P

While watching the 'Littles' one day I took out my camera, which is really my mom's, and started taking pictures of my surroundings. Here are a couple photos that I took.

These two little cuties are my best friend's younger siblings. We joke around about the little girl in this picture and my brother being betrothed........ they don't really appreciate it but someday on their wedding day they will.... HAHA!! :P

Speaking of the happy couple, here they are.... Aren't they adorable? I think they are perfect for each other... They don't quite agree..

This is one of my favorite pictures of B. He got his first kayak ride. I was up on the boat and they came riding next to us so I ran for the camera and quickly took this shot. It turned out great!! At least I think so.. :)

This is my other brother.... Doesn't he look so cute with his life vest on? He didn't quite want it on and threw a fit almost the entire time we were 'fishing.' But every once in a while he stopped crying and just looked around himself.

We had such a great trip!!! It was so much fun. We really enjoyed the cool weather because when we returned home it was about 100 degrees and we all wished we were back in Mammoth. LOL

My Big Dream!!!!! :D

Okay, so my dream has always been to be a photographer......... well, at least for the past year and a half which isn't anywhere near to 'always'. Anyways, like I was saying I want to be a photographer and I have been begging my mom to let me get a blog and and post my pictures on it. She finally said yes and made this blog that you are on right now. I am so excited, except for the fact that I have no idea how to do it...... LOL. Sooooooo....... here it goes!! I hope you enjoy!
